Banda Elemental, recently founded in Mazatlan, Sinaloa, premieres musical material and arma tours in Mexico. With the theme “How are you?” they make thedifference to their details. The song is included on their first album “Banda Elemental Live”, which comes out in a few days, and they also prepare a full studio album. Silverio Carrillo, Alejandro Portillo and César Contreras, the latter two, vocalists of The Elementary Band, and other elements, visited THE DEBATE OF MAZATLAN to talk about their musical proposal.

The young people have been part of groups such as band Pura K-Nela, Puro Quelite, José Angel Ledesma “El Coyote”, Rancho Viejo and Estrellas de Sinaloa de Germán Lizárraga.The interviewees say that they decided to get involved in this new project with the intention of grow as musicians, have new professional adventures and also outperform financially.
Silverio, who previously worked with José Angel Ledesma “El Coyote”, cites that the decision of the name of Banda Elemental was made by common accord among all the members.
We fought a lot because we didn’t want to sound like something like that, and we did have a strong trade name. So as an Elementary Band we hope to reach out to people and put the party together.”

José Luis Avila, former member of Stars of Sinaloa de Germán Lizárraga, quotes that having been part of this band left in it a wide learning.
Don Germán has an admirable and respectable musical ear, a lot of discipline to work, that’s what I felt I was able to learn during my stay with him.”
To form the band, the young people emphasize that they were required to be a part of it and all they asked them was to feel love for the new project.
We don’t get so demanding among ourselves. Many have experience, others don’t, more than anything, they are asked to have musical quality and want to get over each other,” says Silverio.

Elemental Band combines youth, talent, disipline and musical quality. With these elements, they claim, they seek to get ahead and position themselves among the public as a large Sinaloan grouping.
Young people are already starting to have jobs and will soon travel to Guadalajara, Durango and are having presentations at private events in Mazatlan and other nearby cities. And in musical field, mentions Alejandro, one of the vocalists, they have in mind the idea of reaching the audience with their music, without limits, and through romantic themes, of heartbreak and others with which they can dance at all times.
