Morelia, Michoacán. – Through a statement it was reported that after the delivery of the IV Report of the work of the government of Michoacán, the local deputy of the Local Congress, Sergio Báez Torres criticized the lack of real data on security in the entity, during the speech of the title (r) of the Executive Branch, Silvano Aureoles Conejo, for, in his consideration, some figures were not pointed out according to the reality of the state.
This was mentioned by the member of the Parliamentary Group of the National Regeneration Movement (Morena) party, in relation to the comparison made by the governor, with other federal entities in question of violence, as he said that Michoacán’s powers should focus on the entity itself and not on other states.
“The excuse that there are worse regions than us does not say anything to the public, here we are feeling the pressure of violence, fear, uncertainty.”
Báez Torres joined in which the citizenry will accompany his government through the truth, otherwise the only result will be the generation of distrust of the Michoacans with their authorities.
“If there is no discourse attached to reality and that is shared by the public that mistrust grows, and the desirable thing is that on all roads there is an accompaniment of citizenship to their government, in that way it will be more efficient in making decisions or to have a problem, if we talk about a decrease in violence but in fact people are perceiving that it is not real that does not help us much.”
For the legislator representing the 21st District with head office in Coalcomán, the security operation carried out yesterday during the aureoles Rabbit report, marks a standoff between the government and the population, since he recalled that the surrender of accounts is a public exercise, so he invited to analyze the scenario and not to be repeated on coming occasions.
Finally, the Member of The Land recognized that the Executive Branch with the right strategies achieved the reduction of extreme poverty in the entity, as mentioned by the Governor, based on the data presented by the National Social Development Policy (Coneval).
