Morelia, Michoacán. – Although the six Members who represented their parliamentary groups agreed that it is insecurity, the problem that most suffered the population of Michoacán, during the Fourth Government Report of Silvano Aureoles Conejo, the state representative considered that the entity has made progress in protecting the integrity of the Michoacans, a message it gave to the Local Congress less than a week before four people, one of them, an underage worker, were murdered in cold blood.
During his speech, Aureoles Conejo mentioned that Michoacán is in 23rd place in general incidence of crimes and 19th in high-impact crimes, such as murder, kidnapping, extortion, vehicle theft, home room and passerby.
The Executive Secretariat of the National Public Security System, place the Michoacana entity in the pitiful place number five in intentional homicides with 202 cases recorded in the month of August alone, below Guanajuato, Baja California, Chihuahua and state Mexico, while the organization Semaphore Delictivo, puts the state in position seven with a Pareto of the last three months and with 431 murders.
Data from the Traffic Light Crime indicate that in the four years of Aureoles Conejo at the head of the government of Michoacán, 2019 has been the worst year in terms of homicides, with a thousand 14 murders recorded so far this year, compared to the 479 recorded in 2015 , the 796 in 2016, the 777 in 2017 and the 845 last year.
The entity is 13 percent above the national average.
It should be remembered that on 8 August 13 bodies – hung and dismembered – were abandoned in one of the busiest roads in the city of Uruapan, being one of the bloodiest scenes that the entity has ever experienced; while at the end of the same month, clashes were recorded in the municipality of Tepalcatepec, in which antagonistic criminal groups were involved, leaving as a result 9 deceased, about the latter fact, Aureoles Conejo reiterated in several events occurred in Jalisco and not in Michoacán.
Despite the above summary, today during his speech, the head of the state executive branch called not to make the situation of violence in the entity, an object, loot or a flag of any political party.
“We have to make it the cause for which we all fight for the sake of Michoacán.”
