Mandatario said that for its third year in charge of the country the priorities of the 2020 Budget are citizen security, employment, health, pensions, education, environment and drought, regions and protection of children.
President Sebastian Piñera, on national network on Thursday, reported a preview of the 2020 Budget Project that they will present to Congress.
The Representative in his television and radio address of about 10 minutes called the text a “reactivating budget (…) which envisages an increase in public spending of 3% real, which means an increase of US$ 2,133 million, reaching the expenditure a total amount of US$ 74,169 million, and investment grew by 6.8%.”
The Chair said that for his third year in charge of the country, the priorities of the 2020 Budget were citizen security, employment, health, pensions, education, environment and drought, regions and child protection.
“Without a doubt, the world and Chile face difficult times. But we also have a strong country, a healthy economy and an entrepreneurial citizenship, and we have prepared to face these problems,” the Head of State also said.
“I ask Congress to approve these Projects this year, it will be a great and deserved gift for all children in Chile,” the authority added.
