Morelia, Michoacán.- The President of the Board of Directors of the Congress of Michoacán, Antonio Madriz Estrada, advanced that the Political Coordination Board (JUCOPO) will assess whether sanctions will be applied to deputies who were absent during the Ordinary Session of this day and that she had to be suspended for the lack of the legal quorum.
The Session that had been scheduled at 09:00 hours began an hour later and when the point IX was to be played, the vice president was forced to cancel, because at the Legislative Palace the reception of the Association of Charros de Morelia and the coor of the National Congress of Charrería, which will be held in Michoacán, an event to which the deputies gave it more importance.
Therefore, the President of the Bureau stated that during a meeting, JUCOPO members would evaluate not to engage in other activities during the sessions, as well as the possible application of sanctions on congressmen who were absent, depending on the reason.

“We went to attend to the representation of the Association of Charros de Morelia and who is coordinating this National Congress, but if we will have to evaluate in the future because it cannot be possible that by paying attention to other issues we are in some way lack of legislative procedures.”

Minutes earlier, the vice-president of the Bureau, Gabriela Ceballos Hernández called in that same tenor and that the sanctions under article 9 of the Organic Law and Procedures of the Congress be applied, since it did not rule out that it present in writing the p etition.
