At a press conference, he stated that more than a thousand vehicles could take part in the demonstration expected to be from 05:00 to 14:00, and that the most affected areas of the city will be the north, west and east.
Many of the participants will come from the municipalities of Ecatepec, Nezahualcóyotl, Naucalpan, Atizapán and Cuautitlán in the State of Mexico, while from the capital they will be from Indios Verdes, San Felipe, Santa Fe, Polanco and Tláhuac.
“We call on civility, to mobilize peacefully and not to block roads because this would affect not only many thousands of capitalises, but also affects the emergency services of the population,” said the capital official.
He explained that the march will be led by the National Taxi Movement which will protest against applications for the individual passenger transport service, and indicated that they maintain an open dialogue with the city’s taxi drivers to meet their demands.
