translated from Spanish: Joseph Joseph’s remains will be cremated, says his daughter

The remains of Mexican singer José José will be cremated and some of the ashes will be moved to Mexico, and another will stay in Miami, his daughter Sara confirmed on Sunday, in an interview with Univision.
The so-called Prince of Song wanted half of his remains to be in Mexico, “where he was born, where he grew up; Where Mexico saw it bloom. And the other half in Miami, the city that accepted it, that helped him to be reborn, to get out of addiction, (where) he met my mom,” Sara told journalist Marie Antoinette Collins.
The performer’s daughter recalled that in Mexico there will be tributes for the singer in places like the Palacio de Bellas Artes. “Please make him as he deserves it, ” he said.
This Sunday in Miami, USA, the public tribute for the late Mexican singer José José began with an emotional serenade.
With a voice broken by crying, the singer’s youngest daughter, Sarita Sosa, thanked the more than 2,300 people who came to the Miami Dade auditorium to pay homage to the Prince of Song, in the city where she lived much of her life.
“Thank you for remembering my dad, for having him in their hearts, that his music never die, please,” mourned the 25-year-old. “Thank you for coming, you are our family. All of Miami.”

In his speech, the singer’s other daughter, Marysol, lamented that the way she said goodbye to her father was not the best, after more than a year and a half of not seeing him and the controversy that arose from not knowing the whereabouts of the remains.
“I had a beautiful dad, the time I was with him gave me the best of him. I had the joy of saying goodbye to him, it was not in the most appropriate way, but I thank him forever for his heritage for us, I thank him for the love he placed for us and to continue to give it to you, his continent, I love you and thank God for the time you prey He’s with us,” he said.
Meanwhile, José Joel thanked the singer’s followers. “Thank you to the whole world for so much love and so much love,” he said. “This week has been rumbling in my heart to be the son of Joseph Joseph. I have my sisters, Marysol, Sarita, but by divine command I am still the only son of Joseph Joseph. And I share that responsibility with all of you.”
After the children’s speeches, the mariachi, whose members appeared dressed in white, performed The Sad, The Swallows, and Eternal Love. Afterwards, attendees approached the golden coffin to say goodbye to the artist and express his condolences to the family.
Until 14:00 hours on sunday, it had not been confirmed when the singer’s remains would arrive in Mexico.
