Morelia, Michoacán.- Through a statement it was reported that Sergio Báez Torres, deputy of the Congress of Michoacán seeks through a work initiative, improve the conditions of the roads and roads of Michoacans, through the installation and recovery signals that allow drivers to reach their destinations more easily and safely.
The legislator belonging to the Parliamentary Group of the National Regeneration Movement (Morena) party proposes to amend the Law on Roads and Bridges, to create the Law on Road Signage.
The problems the congressman has observed are the lack of signs and roads that do not warn drivers of their poor condition.
“In many places it takes clarity on the routes so that the population can reach their destinations more easily. We seek to have safer roads, that there is good signage and that people can go anywhere without the problems that we have today.”
Báez Torres pointed out that in the Michoacana mountain range there is a lack of signage, which is why many people get to mistray when diverting their route.
The law proposed by the Morenist legislator also includes the government’s commitment to maintain the channels of communication, allocating resources from the Works Fund of the municipal and state administrations.
The initiative with draft decree, aims to repeal, add and reform various provisions of the Law of Roads and Bridges.
