The rector of the University of Guadalajara and president of the Regional Session Central West, of the National Association of Universities and Institutions of Higher Education (ANUIES), Ricardo Villanueva Lomelí, noted that compensation to public universities about the economic decline they face.

He welcomed the need for new universities, but not limited to existing ones. «Welcome any initiative of Higher Education, Benito Juárez, as long as we are not limited to others, that is supported by both, more money is required.»
He said there are 9 financial problems to pay payroll, 11 with deficits, so he urged the return of this year’s extraordinary resource exchanges.
