Morelia, Michoacán.- By means of a statement Raúl Morón Orozco appointed the new holder of the Center for the Culture of Disability of the municipality.
It is one of the 19 young winners of the 2019 National Youth Prize, Michoacana, Maritza Suárez González, who won this award in the “Human Rights” category and will be in charge of this Center in Morelia.

The mayor, Raúl Morón, assured that Suárez González is an example of the tasks that can be done for the inclusion of people with disabilities and is a vocation that must be had by all municipal employees who serve this sector of the population.

Morón Orozco in the company of the director of the DIF, Alejandra Contreras González and the director of the Social Assistance Centers, Verónica Contreras González, expressed that young people should have opportunities and for the new head of the Center for Culture of the Morelia’s disability this will be your occasion on the institutional side.
She asked the newly appointed municipal official, as well as the Director of the DIF, to have a diagnosis promptly to support the Center with the rehabilitation of its infrastructure and to remain a decent space in care for the users who come to it , since 80 people with disabilities are treated daily at this location.

For his part, Maritza Suárez, stated that this work entrusted today by the municipal president, Raúl Morón, is of the utmost importance and expressed his commitment that people with disabilities in the municipality receive decent and adequate treatment.
