Morelia, Michoacán.- Through a statement it was reported that the municipal president, Raúl Morón Orozco, assured that he will integrate into his work plan the results of the Children’s and Youth Consultation 2018, carried out by the National Electoral Institute, through his local boards, in which just over 32,000 Moreliano participated.
Accompanied by officials such as the chairman of the LOCAL Executive Board of the INE, David Alejandro Delgado Arroyo; the holder of the Morelian Youth Institute, Denisse Chantal Paulín Nateras; the director of the Comprehensive Protection System for Children and Adolescents, Sara Demédicis Hidalgo; as well as the ruler Rubén Pedraza, among some other authorities, the mayor expressed his position.
The 2018 Children’s and Youth Consultation, was held from 17 to 25 November, with the participation of more than five million children and adolescents, of whom thirty-two thousand, were Morelians, who through a ballot or by digital application, externalized their gender perspective and the promotion of respect for human rights.
The information collected is used for the fulfillment of short, medium and long-term objectives, through the dissemination of results, deliberation of them through tables and follow-up to actions and commitments, at which point the City Council will intervene Morelia.
This, in line with the intention to generate spaces of citizen participation and contribute to the construction of proposals for the municipal development plan heading for 2020, stated the municipal president, Raúl Morón.
