The defense of Sebastián Dávalos filed a letter requesting the 12th Civil Court of Santiago to cite a new conciliation hearing, in the context of the lawsuit that the son of former President Michelle Bachelet maintains against Channel 13.
The defence also requested the development of “the proposed basis for settlement”, in accordance with Article 262 of the Code of Civil Procedure, consigned La Tercera, which had access to the document.
It is worth remembering that on July 27, 2018, Dávalos filed an action for damages against the television station owned by businessman Andrónico Luksic, for the routines of Yerko Puchento, the character played by Daniel Alcaíno del Vertigo program, demanding compensation of $3.360 million for injury.
Dávalos justified the high amount of his claim claiming to have suffered emerging damage, loss of profit, and moral damage.
The request of the former president’s son was rejected by the television station. His lawyer, Alejandro Espinoza, said that “Channel 13 rules out any possibility according to Dávalos in this trial, since there is no serious record to support his million-dollar claim.
