Tamaulipas.- Elements of the state police “Force Tamaulipas” sustained a persecution and confrontation against armed subjects and were shot down by two of them in central streets of Colonia La Joya, southeast of Reynosa, the Secretariat of Security reported Public.
In the approved police report, the elements reported that at around 10:21 a.m. this morning they received notice from the control, command, communications and computational center personnel (C-4) of the sighting of the suspicious vehicle through the streets of the Colony The Jewel.
Previously, ministerial and state police had been reported a series of robberies with violence to shops, gas stations and motorists in the southeast of the city, especially by the Reynosa-Rio Bravo Highway.
A patrol with five elements on board approached the main avenue of Colonia La Joya, the Michelangelo, in search of the cherry-colored Nitro van, circulated to Colonia Villa Diamante and then returned.
Officers detected the van on 20 November Street, already in Colonia La Joya, and following it were shot dead by the subjects on board.
The agents responded to the fire and began the chase, blocks later over The street Agustín Melgar managed to neutralize the vehicle by striking the tires and the confrontation ensued.
The police officers managed to take down the two subjects inside the vehicle without being injured, so they proceeded to give notice to the staff of the State Attorney General’s Office to attest to the facts.
After nearly two hours of errands and evidence, Coroners moved the bodies into autopsies.
