Monterrey, Nuevo León.- A family of countrymen who entered Mexico through Nuevo Laredo lived minutes of terror just as they entered the national territory.
With a video of just over two minutes, the family heading to Monterrey documented the alleged assault attempt by criminals who followed them in a van.
The footage shows that the suspects started following them as soon as they left the customs area and down Luis Donaldo Colosio Boulevard.
The recording was shared on social media on Thursday, shortly after the facts were recorded.
“Race when you travel to Mexico very carefully,” the driver wrote on his Facebook.

To escape the family sought to return to the international bridge, but on their return the criminals tried to block the passage.
Eventually, the family managed to get to safety and waited for a convoy of policemen to take them out in a caravan along with other families in the at-risk area.
“Where I stopped recording I was going to get there where they take the permit, the last one from there they took us out in a caravan to here to the road to Monterrey, but in caravan with police,” he said in a telephone interview.
