Nuevo Laredo.- A violent day was spent on Friday night in Nuevo Laredo, as at various points were reported shootings, blockages on avenues, as well as burning of trailers and private vehicles.
According to local media releases, after the events there is a balance of a dead offender and six points that members of the Northeast Cartel closed and where they burned the vehicles.
There were reports of firearm detonations near the Military Barracks, La Fe Colony, Hippodrome, Buena Vista and Hidalgo, allegedly by shootings between armed civilians and elements of the Mexican Army.
Last Thursday, clashes also took place between organized crime and military members, leaving six suspected criminals and one soldier dead.
On Friday afternoon in the Benito Juarez housing unit, a shooting occurred near a shopping mall, where customers and motorists sought refuge.
In these situations, in the city of Monterrey, Nuevo León, a risk situation was disseminated, in which travelers were asked to suspend the journey to Nuevo Laredo, due to blockades, shootings and burning of vehicles at various points in the border city.
Nuevo Laredo is hijacked by violence, blockades, armed civilians, shootings and burnt-out cars.
