Magistrate Isidro Avelar Gutiérrez, who faces a complaint of heritage irregularities and additional income, was arrested on Friday in the city of Guadalajara.

In a bulletin, the CJF detailed that the complaint against Avelar Gutiérrez was filed on 24 May and on Friday the arrest warrant was finally executed.
«The commitment of this CJF has been and will be the zero tolerance to corruption. With actions, not speeches, the CJF is advancing in a commitment to make the Federation Judiciary a strong and reliable institution for the population,» they add.
