CDMX.- President Andrés Manuel López Obrador said his government is willing to mediate conflict between Grupo Televisa and the German family.During Thursday’s morning conference, the representative noted that it is the government’s obligation prevent Mexican companies from going bankrupt, which involves serving as a mediator in the dispute between Interjet, a company of the German family, and Grupo Televisa, at the request of the parties.
“We have offered our intermediation to reach an agreement. We’ve been asked. We are in the best position to help reconcile so that these companies continue to provide service and above all to remain as sources of employment,” he said. He said this does not involve “rescuing companies” as in the past, so a Fobaper a Fobapera will not be used, but will seek to intercede in the dispute.
It doesn’t mean money from Mexicans will be used to rescue private companies,” he externed.
On the other hand, the commissioner of the National Migration Institute, Francisco Garduño, acknowledged that the Interjet company remits to the public treasury debts for collections made to foreign tourists to enter the country, and that the efforts to recover such resources are the responsibility of the Tax Administration Service (SAT).
