Morelia, Michoacán.- The increase of 200 million pesos will be aimed primarily at the substantive tasks in the Attorney General’s Office of Michoacán (FGJE), reported the owner of the institution procuring justice, Adrián López Solís.
The initial proposal for the increase in resources was 414 million pesos, however in the proposal for State outflows, there are 200 million in the hands, which would give the Public Prosecutor’s office a thousand 370 million.
The Attorney General said himself “congruent and consciously” about the appeal, knowing the economic situation that the entity is going through.
“We will work with what they give us, authorizing us by privileging the use of public resources towards the substantive tasks that are those of investigation and prosecution of crimes. Within this increase we have considered wage approval”.
In addition, he said that the approval of wages includes staff from substantive areas such as public prosecutors, investigative police and experts.
Also on the table is the payroll savings of 400 unionized workers – 170 million pesos – who have been removed from their duties in the institution, as the Organic Law of the Attorney General’s Office specifies that it can only work there, staff of Confidence.
