Authorities in Mexico City reported the murder of one person, as well as three others, following an attempted assault at the Abasto Central, located in the town of Iztapalapa.

“In addition, at some distance he observed the body of a person lying on the asphalt tape, in the middle of Hall 4 of the area of loading and unloading Legumes, which presented visible hematic spots. Emergency services were immediately requested,” the unit reported in a statement.

The Police capital maintained that one of those injured suffered an assault attempt after withdrawing “a large amount of money from a bank branch in the area.”
The person responsible allegedly fired after being intercepted by a capital security element, injuring the accountkeeper, the policeman and a diable of the Central de Abasto.
Authorities reported two intakes, that of a man who was injured by gunfire and another who was assured of a firearm.
“All the injured were transferred to different hospitals for their ultimate medical care,” he said.
