Zacapu, Michoacán.- The cockpit of a trailer carrying a shipment of stubble caught fire for unknown causes in the Libramiento of this town of Zacapu. Fortunately there were no casualties to mourn, as referred to by the rescue authorities and police men who arrived at the site to attend the emergency.
The event was in the road aforementioned in the Zacapu-Jiménez section. Other motorists who saw the situation were those who immediately called the emergency number 911 to report what was happening, which sparking the mobilization of firefighters and public safety elements.
The area was flagged to avoid an accident and in this was supported by the representatives of the law, while the Vulcans fought the flames hard until they were extinguished, only the cabin was completely destroyed. The road was closed for several hours during the duration of the relief manoeuvres.
Police commandos told this editor that it is presumed that everything may have happened as a result of a mechanical failure, but stressed that it will be the expertise of the competent authorities that will determine what caused the fire. Similarly, transit personnel did the respective actions and in the end a crane towed the car to a corralon, where it was made available just to the Road staff.
