At 8 months from the feminicide of Lucia Ugalde Hernández, her family and friends raise their voices to denounce the lack of results by the competent authorities, in the detention of their suspected phenominid, as well as exposing the opacity and lack of sensitivity with the that your case has been handled.
While at the time they gave a vote of confidence to the authorities of the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE), situations such as the long months of waiting, excessive bureaucracy and the uncommunication of the authorities in charge of the case with their deputies, fill them with helplessness and forcing them to publicly demand prompt and expedited justice, have joined the claim made today by hundreds of families living a similar situation in the country.
Lucia was a working woman who died last Thursday, March 28 at the hands of her husband, David Dominguez Huerta, who strangled her inside her apartment in the Tres Marías split.
Her body was found three days later, after her family went to the Missing Persons Prosecutor’s Office and the corresponding protocols were activated, her husband had taken his car and credit cards.
A research folder was erected where Dominguez Huerta was found to be the killer who took his life, so an arrest warrant was issued against him, however, since that moment we have come to ask for justice from various prosecutors and with different aut without having until today after 8 months not a single answer.
They therefore make the protest public, in the hope that through public opinion, our demand for justice can be answered so that this outrageous crime will not also be left to impunity.
