Cleaning items such as detergent powder, shampoo, bath soap, chlorine, pinol, bath towels, wet and sanitary wipes, winter clothing for men, women, children and babies, baby and adult diapers, fruits, vegetables and pantry items, such as beans, rice, milk, lentils, soup paste, among others.
“We need the support of the whole population because there are people who really need support,” said Gabriela González Mata, in charge of the dining room located in the Centro.Historia colony
It has been a non-profit association for more than 10 years supporting people in need, abandoned and unprotected by providing them with food, clothing, medical service and personal grooming.
THE DEBATE
The main beneficiaries are homeless, migrants, single mothers, children and the elderly. The mission of the association is to care for every person in need or unprotected to achieve their physical, mental, cultural and social development. About 40 people, including single mothers, children and the elderly, come to the dining room at breakfast and lunch time. The hostel has two enclosures in Mazatlan, one in the colony Francisco I. Madero and another in the street Germán Avers, in addition to a communal dining room in the colony Centro de Malpica, Concordia; a shelter house and a dining room in the municipality of Rosario.They have a schedule from 09:00 to 15:00 hours, monday to Saturday.
