Alejandra Mustakis: Crisis made it possible to take real importance to SMEs and entrepreneurs
The president of Asech said that only a small percentage of the one million companies in Chile are large corporations. Thus, 60% of the employment is sME, with only those formalised. Nearly 15,000 have already been counted as affected and, for that total, Mustakis stressed that it is key that a tax regime for small and medium-sized enterprises within the Tax Reform is being urgently activated.
