Morelia, Michoacán.- Through a statement it has been reported that the municipal president of Morelia, Raúl Morón Orozco, inaugurated the Fifth Fair of Molcajete and Arte Campesino, which takes place in San Nicolás Obispo until the day of the morning, December 15 and ensures that the it will become a festival of international projection and thus detonate the tourism and economy of tenure.
Projecting the talent of local artisans and giving due value to their creations are the main reasons why Raúl Morón, seeks a way to strengthen this important event, which also serves as one of the main points of entry for his Inhabitants.
In this regard, the mayor announced that in the coming days road regeneration work will be launched on the entry into the community, in order to allow the necessary conditions for a greater flow of visitors and increase the offer of activities, through the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
In addition, interest was revealed by the Government of Mexico through its Ministry of Culture, to validate before the Guinness Records, the molcajete of tenure as the largest in the world, thereby attracting resources for its care and development of the community D.
The fair will continue until tomorrow where in addition to the detailed molcajetes, visitors will be able to taste Mexican antojitos, acquire products characteristic of the region and in a series of games and activities that ensure family entertainment.
