While the seven luxury cars achieved an overprice of 63% and a gain of 28 million 685 thousand pesos.
Among the luxury units were brands such as Lamborghini, Aston Martin, McLaren 600 and Corvette, as well as armored vehicles, so buyers paid up to three times what was originally offered.
According to the Indep, the seven auctioned cars were seized from a hacker cell arrested last May in León, Guanajuato, while the jewels were secured at customs when they were attempted to enter the country illegally. Vehicles from the Presidency were also auctioned.
Two Gulfstream aircraft were also sold, achieving a gain of 26 million 713 thousand 200 pesos.
The rest of the total money was raised with the sale of real estate and other vehicles.
