Mexican boxer Julio Cesar Chavez Jr lost his match on Friday by technical knockout after the fifth round in his fight against American Daniel Jacobs at Phoenix’s Talking Stick Arena.What seemed like a new opportunity for the “son of legend” ended in one more loss for his record and a disappointment for the Phoenix Suns stadium attendants.
After the sixth round, Chávez Jr told his corner that he could not continue in the match due to an alleged nose injury, making the announcement to the referee, who stopped the fight, which caused annoyance to some fans who threw objects into the ring.
