Several criminal acts, including the burning of at least five cars, were recorded on Tuesday’s early hours in Tabasco following the capture of Trinidad “N”, alias El Pelón, who is noted as one of the main generators of violence in the entity.
In a statement, the Tabasco government reported that Trinidad was arrested for state and federal elements on Monday afternoon and made available to the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) “for the possible commission of a federal crime”.

According to the portal Tabasco Hoy Trinidad “N” was arrested on the road that leads to the municipality of Jalapa after not stopping at a checkpoint that had the State Police.
This operation had been set up arising from the report of theft of goods transport vehicles in the area.
Hours after the arrest, in the early morning of Tuesday, a group of armed subjects carried out various criminal acts including the burning of 5 vehicles at different points in the City of Tabasqueña.
Elements of state Civil Protection deal with the fires without injured persons being reported.
Faced with these facts, the government of the entity announced that the State Security Bureau for Peace and Security is remaining in a permanent session, as well as implementing surveillance operations in the Tabasque capital.
