In this sense, the President of the institution and High Representative Protocolar of the Church before the Government, Jorge Méndez, argued that “we are for rejection, we want modifications to the Constitution not patched and we want unity, 20% of the population is evangelical and we let The Coin know our position,” she said. He added that “we have approached representatives of other churches, such as the Catholic church, who is also about rejection and our position in April is clear and we will not approve,” he argued.
