An operation implemented by the authorities of Michoacán, in which three suspected criminals were arrested, sparked a series of blockades with burning cars in the municipality of Uruapan.
The Michoacán Secretariat of Public Security reported on its Twitter account that one of the detainees was injured in the operation.
“We arrested three people, one of them injured, in operational actions that are maintained in coordination with the @FiscaliaMich and @GN_Mexico in the municipality of Uruapan,” the police said.

Hours later, the secretariat said that the circulation was restored on the free highway Uruapan-Pátzcuaro and on the highway Siglo XXI, at the height of kilometer 6+500.

The blockades were recorded at kilometer 006+500 Ramal Distribuidor Zirimícuaro, in the Pátzcuaro-Uruapan section.
