The rift between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard was accompanied by a great controversy. After three years of marriage, the couple ended their marriage in 2017 on charges of ill-treatment and alcohol and drug problems.
The legal battle was initiated by Amber Heard, accusing the actor of physically assaulting her on several occasions. It closed on an economic deal, but, the actress, also recounted for the ‘Washington post’ the supposed hell that had lived next to the actor, wanted him to file a $50 million defamation complaint.
Johnny Depp’s lawyers accused Amber Heard’s legal team of trying to blackmail the actor with an image in which he appears to consume illegal substances with the intention of having him drop the lawsuit. However, the complaint was not withdrawn and is still in the process of being resolved.
An international medium brought to light the recording of an audio in which Heard is heard to acknowledge that she had assaulted her then husband.
“I’m sorry I didn’t, punch you in the face as I would have liked, but I hit you, even though I didn’t punch you” You are heard saying to the model in a recorded conversation authorized during a couples therapy session.
The recording comes from a friend close to Amber, according to the aforementioned medium, in which Depp is also heard saying, “I’m afraid that we’ll turn our marriage into a crime scene.”
