Morelia, Michoacán.- With the firm intention of boosting the Michoacan capital as a tourist destination through its characteristics as a city Cultural Heritage of Humanity, the municipal president of Morelia, Raúl Morón Orozco, met this afternoon with authorities of Puebla, to know their success story regarding the enabling of tunnels as an attraction and to take advantage of their historical wealth.
Morón Orozco, thanked the reception by the Ministry of Tourism of this municipality, Mónica Prida Coppe, as well as the manager of the Historic Center, María Graciela León Matamoros and the Director of Monitoring and Evaluation of the Historical Center and Heritage Miguel Atemis Alonso, who showed their openness and support for the project that his government will undertake and where they shared the experience of the technical, administrative and tourist processes for the rehabilitation of this attraction and to be able to replicate it in Morelia.
