Morelia, Michoacán.- The Secretary of the City Council of Morelia, Humberto Arróniz Reyes, disclosed that the bicycle that transits daily in the Historic Center will make changes, following pressures from the Transport Regulatory Commission (CRT)
In interview with media, the official regretted the action of this organization led by José Trinidad Martínez Pasalagua, since both the bicycle and the cycle path that is installed on Sundays are intended to promote family coexistence.
For this reason, he said fixed schedules will be allocated for the bike as it was one of the most heartfelt complaints of the carriers and that has caused them on two occasions to prevent the traditional Sunday cycleway.
The schedules of the bike will be modified so that not all day will be working, only when the traffic of cars allows so that it does not cause accidents or that the vehicle load is increased.
He added that other agreements were also taken such as opening traffic at 17 different points on Madero Avenue on Sundays and restricting athletic racing in the city centre.
