Duffy, la voz del hit “Mercy”, reveló que se retiró de los escenarios porque fue violada y secuestrada

Aimee Anne Duffy, más conocida por su seudónimo Duffy es una cantante y compositora británica que se hizo conocida internacionalmente luego de sacar la canción «Mercy» en 2018. Tiene 35 años, canta bajo el estilo conocido como neo soul y aunque su carrera inicio en 2003, durante el último tiempo la artista se encontraba retirada de las pistas.Lo anterior hasta hoy, 25 de febrero, en el que la artista subió su primera foto a Instagram donde escribió una fuerte declaración: Aimee reveló que su retiro de los escenarios en 2011 se debió a un trauma ocasionado por una violenta experiencia.  View this post on Instagram You can only imagine the amount of times I thought about writing this. The recovery took time. There’s no light way to say it. You wonder why I did not choose to use my voice to express my pain? I did not want to show the world the sadness in my eyes. I asked myself, how can I sing from the heart if it is broken?
