translated from Spanish: Health confirms one more case of COVID-19 in CDMX; there are three suspects in Durango and Guanajuato

Health authorities confirmed one more case of COVID-19 coronavirus in Mexico City, adding up to two patients with contagion in the country’s capital and another in Sinaloa.
At a press conference, authorities explained that these are men (two outpatients for mild symptoms and another one who was hospitalized).
José Luis Alomía Zegarra, Director General of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Health, reiterated that one of the two patients in Mexico City is a 35-year-old man who traveled to northern Italy and has mild respiratory symptoms: headache, fever and cough.
Both he and 5 members of his family are isolated in the Institute.
The case in Sinaloa is a 41-year-old man who is in isolation in a hotel.
Both people traveled to Italy, where they had contact with a positive case in Bergamo, during a convention.
Meanwhile, the official explained that there are two new suspected cases in Guanajuato and another in Durango, as well as 37 negatives.
No emergency: Lopez Gatell
Undersecretary of Health Hugo López-Gatell warned that with the arrival of the CORONAvirus COVID-19 in Mexico, a month-long period with isolated outbreaks in areas of the country is expected, but ruled out a national or health emergency.
“This is not going to be in a national emergency or a health emergency because we are in the initial phase of importation. We are preparing for a prologate stage of several months with several outbreaks,” he said.
He said the federal government’s strategy is not aimed at disrupting the entry of people into the country, “because that is impossible, WHO (World Health Organization) recommends not diverting efforts to this, the useful thing is to mitigate the impact that the disease can have by serving those affected and slowing the spread,” he explained.
