Morelia, Michoacán.- Research works carried out by the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Michoacán (FGE), allowed to frustrate, extortion in grievance of a psychology student.
On this fact it was established that, yesterday, the aggrieved woman received phone calls when she moved to the school where she studied, through which she was forced to move to a secluded place.
Subsequently, relatives of the victim were contacted by telephone, to demand the delivery of a large sum of money in exchange for their freedom, facts that were reported to the Public Prosecutor’s Office of the Specialized Unit to Combat Kidnapping (UECS ), which initiated the investigations.
Derived from the above and after implementing intelligence techniques and field research, it was established that it was a virtual extortion, so the payment of the large amount requested was avoided, and on Tuesday, the offense was located except and transferred to the institution to receive the protocol care.
Finally, the Attorney General’s Office thanked the directors of the Faculty of Psychology, as well as students, for the support provided for the location of the young woman
