Morelia, Michoacán.- For Monica Aralí Soto Fregoso, judge of the Upper Chamber of the Electoral Tribunal of the Judiciary of the Federation, 2021 will be a decisive year, as electoral bodies and political parties themselves must seek and do respect gender parity within the selection of candidates.
During the conversation “Conquests and challenges of women in the political life of our country”, held at the Municipal Palace of Morelia, she said that the role of women in Mexican politics is very important and now that gender parity is stipulated it is resp unreliability of electoral management bodies to verify that this is implemented.
