According to the authorities, two cases were confirmed on Wednesday in Mexico City: a 41-year-old man who had a history of travel in Spain, as well as a 30-year-old woman who was also in that country. Both had mild symptoms and remain in home isolation.
The third case is a stateman from Mexico who also has mild symptoms and has a history of the United States.
The fourth contagion confirmed by both federal and state authorities occurred in Querétaro, in a 43-year-old man, who lives in Spain and traveled to Mexico via Mexico City International Airport (AICM), and then traveled by car to this entity to visit his relatives.

The subject had symptoms, so they had the tests and were positive. Upon diagnosis, the patient is isolated in his or her home, where authorities report it stable and under observation.
“Your close circle of people has already been identified – which is limited to their parents – and according to protocol they will be followed up to 14 days, in order to rule out or treat additional cases,” the state unit explained.

Although in a first report federal authorities did not contemplate the latter case, Nuevo León’s health secretary, Manuel de la O Cavazos, reported that a 57-year-old man tested positive for coronavirus.
The man is originally from St. Peter’s and developed symptoms after travelling to London, England; Munich, Germany, and Madrid, Spain, between 24 February and 3 March last.
At a press conference, the authorities in Nuevo León explained that he went to a private laboratory for testing. For now he receives treatment and will remain in solitary confinement for 14 days, as well as the eight people who were in contact with him.
“You have mild respiratory symptoms that do not require hospitalization,” the health official added.
The Undersecretary of Health, Hugo López Gatell, reported that during the morning conference on this Thursday, March 12, will be informed about acting in mass events in the country in the presence of the new coronavirus in Mexico.
