Mexico City.- At just five years old, a child suffered the abandonment of his mother. He was found wandering the streets of Xochimilco by a couple who in good faith gave him asylum, while awaiting the return of his father, but this never happened. After 40 days with the minor, the 49-year-old man and his 59-year-old partner came to the Public Prosecutor’s Office facility of that demarcation to give notice of what happened. They stated that the child’s mother is about 24 years old and lives in a vulnerable situation.
Similarly, they assured that at this time they took care of the infant, despite having no blood ties to him, to avoid the risks of being in a street situation.
