The Ministry of Administration and Finance of Mexico City (SAF-CDMX) reported which formalities would be suspended in the event of the contingency of coronavirus COVID-19.
THE owner of the SAF, Luz Elena González, noted that since this Monday all administrative processes, attention to the public at the window, and formalities of requests for access to public information and personal data are suspended.
The suspension will be from March 23 to Friday 19 April. If sanitary conditions permit, activities would resume on 20 April.

For its part, the Secretariat of Capital Mobility announced that all its modules will pause services and that the only procedure that will remain active, online, is the renewal of the circulation card.

Payment extensions
The SAF detailed that all deadlines for the payment of tax obligations will be extended and may be paid until 30 April.
An example of this is the forgiveness of the Tax on Tenancy and Use of Vehicles, which was due March 31 and will now be until April 30.

However, the SAF clarified that taxpayers who want and can pay their taxes will be able to do so through the electronic means of payment enabled on their official site.
The suspension of these formalities, are in addition to the announcement of the National Electoral Institute (INE) that will close its 853 modules of citizen care from Monday 23 March until further notice.
The agency said it will reschedule previous appointments and resume the activities of the care modules once the epidemiological emergency is overcome.
