According to the Government, five people who were in contact with the official, who were carrying out administrative work, went into preventive quarantine.
Through a statement, from La Moneda they noted that, in compliance with the protocols established by the Ministry of Health, “all who were in contact with that person have entered a preventive quarantine”.
It should be noted that the Representative is in La Moneda on Saturday however the preventive quarantine “does not affect ministers or the President of the Republic”, the missive clarifies.
On Saturday morning, 299 new cases were confirmed at the country level, bringing the number of infected persons to 1,909.
