The head of government, Claudia Sheinbaum, reiterated the call for the capitals to stay at home during the next period of Easter, which begins on April 5 and ends on april 12, as they are not holidays.
“Easter is coming and the call is still, stay home, it’s not a global pandemic and we all have to be responsible,” he said in a video posted on his Twitter account.
This Thursday the number of positive cases in the capital is 363, which puts Mexico City at the forefront of contagion.

Sheinbaum Pardo asked citizens of all ages to reflect and stay at home, for this, he said, is the difference between “being able to care for hundreds of people in hospitals or not being able to care for thousands. This is serious, save lives, stay home.”
The head of government explained that as of April 1, 1 million 17 thousand 550 children from public schools received on her my scholarship to start school kits, between 800 and 900 pesos, depending on the level of education.
He also recalled that small entrepreneurs can order through the Fondeso page one of the 50 thousand microcredits available.
