translated from Spanish: Anses will be able to collect the $10,000 bonus through e-wallets

The National Social Security Administration (Anses) reported on Friday that it will enable the possibility of charging For Emergency Family Income (IFE) through e-wallets. Companies that will provide the $10,000 bonus collection service will be Mercado Pago, PIM and Plus Pagos.

In this way, Anses will offer IFE beneficiaries the possibility of funds being deposited into both a bank account and a virtual account. In this way, when placing the account to which the money will be received, the data of a CBU (bank key) or a CVU (virtual key) corresponding to the electronic wallets can be shared. The action will take effect over the next week, when government entities decide who is responsible for charging for Emergency Family Income. The provision is made public at a time when banks are saturated with the public after reopening their doors to pay exclusively the IFE to AUH and AUE beneficiaries.

According to the Argentine Fintech Chamber, there are 6,500,000 virtual accounts in Argentina that could be used to collect the IFE. Mercado Pago, PIM and Plus Pagos are the 3 virtual wallets that had since 2018 an agreement with Anses to pay for planned and social payments. The state of emergency caused the implementation of the agreement to be expedited and put in place when the bonus begins to be paid for $10,000.In this note:
