President Alberto Fernández led a video conference with the 23 provincial governors and Horacio Rodríguez Larreta to define modifications to the mandatory quarantine that has been in place since March 20. From Quinta de Olivos, where Fernández is with Larreta, Axel Kicillof and the Ministry of the Interior, Wado de Pedro, the president consults with the chief executives of the provinces the possible openings of sectors that are paralyzed by isolation.
This morning and in the same vein, the president was with entrepreneurs from the Argentine Industrial Union and trade unionists from the CGT. The meeting was attended by the Minister of Health, Ginés González García and the team of epidemological advisers consulted by the president.
The objective of the meeting is to «follow the situation of each province and continue working together to combat COVID-19», indicated on its social networks the Minister of the Interior, Eduardo «Wado» of Pedro, minutes before the start of the meeting. Without further clarification on the future of quarantine, the president seeks support in case, after hearing the experts’ opinion, he decides to extend it.
