Morelia, Michoacán.- Social service interns of the health area of the Michoacana University of San Nicolás de Hidalgo (UMSNH) requested the necessary inputs, training and the ideal conditions to avoid being susceptible to becoming people of propagation of Covid-19.
At the CIAC meeting where the rector of the Michoacana University, Raúl Cárdenas Navarro, the Secretary of Government, Carlos Herrera Tello, the head of the Ministry of Health, Diana Carpio Ríos, the interns of the health area from the 8 health jurisdictions of the entity were present, reiterated their commitment and humanism to attend to the health of the Michoacans , however, they asked not to be assigned to tasks for which they are not professionally trained.
At the meeting, chaired by the rector Nicolaita, who was accompanied by the Secretary General, Pedro Mata Vázquez, the Academic Secretary, Orepani García Rodríguez, the Director of Linkage and Social Service, Ana Teresa Malacara Salgado, among other officials of this House of Studies, the university students reiterated the need for their petitions to be attended to as professionals as professionals seek to protect their families and , in general, the people they live with.
In front of the university community the Ministry of Health, Diana Carpio Ríos, assured that the state government’s dependence on protection inputs gradually, also reiterated that they will continue training for social service interns in hospital spaces throughout the state.
Likewise, it endorsed its commitment to health care inmates and social service interns for the responsibility they currently have, as well as their readiness to the central administration of THE UMSNH to continue to work in a coordinated manner in the face of the pandemic generated by Covid-19.
At the meeting, where the director of the School of Nursing and Public Health, Adriana Calderón Guillén, the director of the Faculty of Medical and Biological Sciences “Dr. Ignacio Chávez”, Arturo Valencia Ortiz, the director of the Faculty of Dentistry, Oliver Mauricio López Garnica, and the director of the Faculty of Nursing, Julio César González Cabrera, the university authorities expressed their unrestricted support to the residents and interns of social service with the necessary conditions to carry out their work in hospital spaces.
