It started in China and spread to the world. Today the country that knew how to be the epicenter of COVID-19 is not even among the five most affected and yesterday reported that it did not detect deaths in the last 24 hours. However, the world already records one and a half million cases. As the eyes shifted from Asia to North America, the United States remains the worst-affected country and is outperformed every day, in very hard weeks, topping the list of more than 422,000 cases. It is followed by Spain, which exceeds 145,000; Italy, with 139,000; France, with 112,000 and Germany, with 110,000.
As for the death toll, the figure has already exceeded 87,000 with Italy remains at the top with more than 17,000 deaths. Spain and the United States already number more than 14,000, but the American country’s projections are worrisome and it’s only a matter of time before it is the country with the most death. On the other hand, the most encouraging numbers have to do with recovered patients. To date and officially, 319,000 people who overcaeated the coronavirus were registered.
