The federal Ministry of Health reported 40 new deaths from COVID-19, totaling 273 deaths.
At a press conference, health officials reported that confirmed coVID-19 cases are now 4,219, 375 more than reported yesterday.
Mexico City has already exceeded a thousand confirmed cases.

While suspected cases of the disease fell to 9,983; yesterday there were 10 thousand 300.
Of the total confirmed contagion, 67.43% recover on an outpatient basis, 10.43% in hospitals, but with stable conditions; 18.23% are reported severely and 3.31% required entubation, José Luis Alomía Zegarra, General Director of Epidemiology, reported.
The population that has been confirmed with COVID-19, so far, 42% has recovered; 52% remain in solitary confinement, and 6% have died.
