translated from Spanish: Santa Fe: In the face of the health emergency, an NGO ceded its sports center to the authorities

Due to the advance of COVID-19 in the country, the NGO CILSA, which fights for inclusion, made available to the health authorities of Santa Fe the Juan Leonardo “Cuqui” Vega Sports Complex along with orthopedic elements and wheelchairs for those who require special attention.

“Our organization has made available to the health authorities the Sports Complex for the use of its facilities, in the duration of the national health emergency. How not to do it and be present, if this will allow, as we always say it, a better quality of life for people with and without disabilities. This pandemic does not discriminate, once again in the face of the emergency the inclusion unites us,” explained Silvia Carranza, chairwoman of the CILSA board. He added: “As members of the third sector, we believe that the work pooled together with the State and the private sector is critical to tackling the pandemic and succeeding.”

The property opened in 1989 has three hectares and is specially designed to be used by people with or without disabilities. Also, the complex has a large covered gym, with two complete changing rooms, two large multi-purpose lounges, two bedrooms, with 10 beds each and 1 bedroom, with 6 beds that have a changing room sector with 6 showers and toilets, and finally 2 offices. It is worth noting the great location of the complex in one of the accesses of the city (Avenida de la Constitución Nacional Argentina and Ruta Nacional 11) and only six minutes from the Hospital “José María Cullen”. At the moment the health authorities of the province are working for general conditioning. In this note:
