The Comptroller General of the Republic announced the opening of an investigation at the new Felix Bulnes hospital, located in Cerro Navia, after a waterlogging was known in its premises last Sunday, a few hours after it was inaugurated by President Sebastián Piñera.
Through Twitter, the auditing agency reported that “after allegations of waterlogging, an investigation is initiated at Félix Bulnes hospital. In addition to this, they are preventively added to the research, the Gustavo Fricke hospital and that of Padre Las Casas. This, as they are also advance delivery of projects due to covid-19”.
In principle, it was believed that the waterlogging that occurred in the hospital compound had to do with the rain falling during Sunday in the capital, but through a statement, the administration disalfed that information.
“In relation to images circulating on social networks about flooding in the new hospital, it should be noted that this was due to rupture of flexible joint in a matrix of the secondary circuit of hot air conditioning water, located on floor 5 (technical area),” they said, in a statement.
