Knowing Russia presented “In the Corner of Cabildo and Oath”, a documentary directed by Gonzalo San and special to see in quarantine. In just a matter of hours it became a hit, with more than five thousand views on Youtube.With a little over 15 minutes of extension, Mateo Sujatovich explains what the creation and recording of his second studio album, “Cabildo y Oath”, was like, and how his life was transformed in that process.
“I think the song ‘Cabildo y oath’ encompasses what I like about the album, which is a song that between what it says, music and production is the one that gave me the most pride to show,” the singer says in the short film. “I lived all my life in Belgrano. That was a busy corner for me, a lot of encounter. That’s where I started taking my first steps, when they let me go to school alone. I was a kid, so I got off the bus there; sometimes I got a little lost, but I knew that if I passed through those streets I knew where I was. It’s a place that meant a lot to me,” explained the artist, in dialogue with Filo.News.In addition, due to the health crisis, they had to reschedule the may 14 show for October 22 of this year at the Teatro Gran Rex; tickets can be obtained through Ticketek, and all those that have already been purchased are valid for the new date.
