Morelia, Michoacán.- With the exception of its children’s oncology hospital, the Teleton Children’s Rehabilitation Center (CRIT) Michoacán made available to the state government its facilities in the capital Michoacana.
In the face of the Coronavirus pandemic, reported that the rehabilitation centers of the country will remain closed, so the facilities of the capital Michoacana were made available to the government where they have offices equipped furniture and areas with a great capacity of attention for the purposes that the state considers, so they also offered a general guidance telephone line in relation to Covid-19 and psychological support at no cost and open to all Mexicans the telephone line 800 Telethon will be personally attended by experts and collaborators of the rehabilitation centre.
The foundation also reported that they have available specific telerehabilitation materials accessible to all persons with disabilities in the country in teleton.org so that at no cost they can continue rehabilitation therapies.
The Teleton Oncology Children’s Hospital remains open to 297 children with cancer and intra-hospital actions have been strengthened to the safety and survival of their patients.
